Peter Castle, Tai Chi Instructor
Peter Castle is a 73-year-old retired engineer living in Taree on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, Australia. Moving from Sydney for a lifestyle change, he and his wife have been living in Taree ever since, joined by his daughters and their families a few years later. Introduced to Tai Chi while recovering from a sports injury, Peter started Tai Chi in 1985 with The Australian Academy of Tai Chi and is a regular practitioner of Tai Chi thereafter. Knowing the benefits himself, he wanted to spread his knowledge and so made his hobby his profession post-retirement. From "stand-up" Tai Chi, as Peter calls it, to Chair Tai Chi, he is conducting passionate classes to people knowing very well that Tai Chi will positively impact his students. When he is not teaching, you will find him surfing, reading, or playing with his five grandkids, but definitely not gardening!
